Our History...
Waterman pediatrics was founded by Dr. Henry Utter, one of the first pediatricians in Rhode Island,  in the early 1900's.  He was joined in 1957 by his son, Dr. Wilson F. Utter.  In the years since, many pediatricians have joined Dr. Utter to continue this commitment to excellence in pediatrics.  In 1997 Waterman Pediatrics joined a select group of Rhode Island physicians to form Coastal Medical Inc.  In an era of managed care and escalating healthcare costs this association allows us to focus on delivering quality healthcare as efficiently and effectively as possible.
